Jeenbek Kulubaev meets with minister of higher education of Malaysia

Bishkek, April 2, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, today met with Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, Zambri Abdul Kadir, the press service of the foreign ministry reported.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in the educational sphere and noted with satisfaction the dynamics of intensification of Kyrgyz-Malaysian bilateral relations.

Taking into account the experience of Malaysia in the field of education in the southeastern region, the parties agreed to exchange the best advanced standards of education in educational institutions, as well as to increase the number of students from Kyrgyzstan in universities in Malaysia.

Kulubaev expressed gratitude to the Malaysian side for the resumption of short-term courses within the framework of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program for civil servants of Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active cooperation in organizing educational seminars, holding scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, as well as exchanging experience in the field of education.
