Bishkek, Dec. 28, 2018 / Kabar /. A telephone conversation took place today between President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the conversation, Jeenbekov congratulated Mirziyoyev and the people of Uzbekistan on the upcoming New Year, the President’s press service said.
The sides stressed the events held in Uzbekistan at the state level on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.
The heads of state also discussed topical issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation, as well as upcoming events in the coming year.
