Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2019. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, in the framework of participation in the VII meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku (Azerbaijan) met with First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The meeting took place immediately upon arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku. An exchange of views took place on bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
The Kyrgyz president congratulated Nazarbayev on his election as Honorary Chairman of the Turkic Council and the presentation of the Higher Order of the Turkic Peace. The presentation will take place tomorrow, October 15, at the meeting of the Turkic Council. Jeenbekov once again noted the personal contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev to the establishment and strengthening of strategic partnership, alliance and good neighborliness between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
The first president of Kazakhstan emphasized that he was glad to meet again. He noted that he supports all the efforts of the heads of state aimed at deepening cooperation and good neighborly relations. The sides noted the importance of deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, strengthening activities in the implementation of joint projects in various areas of partnership.
