Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2018. /Kabar/. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov awarded the Danaker Order to TURKSOY Secretary General Dusanbay Kaseinov. The country leader noted that the international organization TURKSOY, headed by Kaseinov, being a kind of spiritual bridge connecting Turkic-speaking countries, does a great job, enjoys great prestige in the international arena.
Jeenbekov thanked Dusanbay Kaseinov for fruitful work, underlining his personal contribution to strengthening cooperation of Kyrgyzstan with TURKSOY and assistance in conducting important events for the country at a high level, as well as in preserving and promoting the spiritual and cultural values of the Kyrgyz people.
In particular, the country leader thanked the TURKSOY Secretary General for the declaration of 2018 as the Year of Chyngyz Aitmatov and for the publication of books by Kyrgyz poets and writers.
Dusanbay Kaseinov thanked Jeenbekov for the high award, noting that TURKSOY always feels the support of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan in its work.
Speaking about writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, the TURKSOY Secretary General noted that the decision to declare 2018 the Year of Chyngyz Aitmatov was supported by all members of the organization, the events in honor of the 90th anniversary are held in many countries. He said that, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan, events dedicated to Aitmatov will be held in November in the country.
On August 30, 2018, Jeenbekov signed the Decree on Awarding the Danaker Order to Dusanbay Kurabayevich Kaseinov for the great services in the development and strengthening of cultural ties and friendship between Kyrgyzstan and the Turkic-speaking countries.
