Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on Russia Day, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.
“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the state holiday Russia Day. Today the Russian Federation is an example of stable social, economic and political development and consistent strengthening of the country's authority in the world arena. I am deeply grateful for your contribution to deepening and expanding the Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation. Your personal participation has given a new impetus to the qualitative filling of our bilateral relations and strengthened the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership. I am convinced that the time-tested Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation will continue to develop for the benefit of our peoples,” Jeenbekov said in his letter of congratulations.
Jeenbekov wished Putin good health, welfare and success in his state activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Russia.
Russia Day, called Day of adoption of the declaration of state sovereignty is the national holiday of the Russian Federation. It has been celebrated annually on June 12 since 1992. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) on June 12, 1990.
