Bishkek, Oct.29, 2019. /Kabar/. Today, Oct.29 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Republic Day, his press service said.
“On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the National Holiday of Turkey - Republic Day. I am deeply convinced that the relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey, based on strategic cooperation and trust, will continue to develop and further promote the well-being of our fraternal peoples. I express my sincere gratitude for your personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations and support,” the congratulatory message runs.
Jeenbekov wished Erdoğan and his family good health, happiness and success, and the fraternal people of Turkey-peace and prosperity.
Republic Day is a public holiday in Turkey commemorating the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, on Oct.29, 1923. It lasts 35 hours, starting each year at 1:00 pm on Oct.28.
