Baktuu-Dolonotu, Sept. 02, 2018. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov delivered a speech at the official opening ceremony of the Third World Nomad Games.
From the rostrum at the hippodrome in Baktuu-Dolonotu village the country leader greeted with pride the first persons of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Hungary, as well as foreign guests and compatriots. He stressed that their presence demonstrates respect to the Kyrgyz nation and its achievements.
Jeenbekov underlined that the initiative for holding the World Nomad Games was launched and welcomed at the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States in 2012 with the aim to revive the values and culture of nomadic civilizations and peoples.
The President highlighted that nomadic peoples have always respected people's diplomacy and established relations among each other based on the spirit of tolerance and respect to one another. This same spirit comes back to life when they come together on the WNG platform.
He said that today the large-scale culture event drew attention of participants from more than 50 countries and more than 100 mass media, who will let the whole world know of this event.
