Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2020. /Kabar/. Telephone conversation between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was held July 31.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz President, the two leaders congratulated each other on Kurman Ait holiday, and wished the two fraternal nations prosperity and wellbeing.
Erdoğan expressed his condolences to the Kyrgyz people and Jeenbekov in connection with the death of citizens from the coronavirus pandemic.
The sides discussed the improvement of cooperation within the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recalled the regular meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Seaking States (CCTS) will take place in Turkey, in this regard, he expressed hope for an early meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart.
During the phone talk, the heads of state also agreed to continue joint measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
