Bishkek, Dec.27, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov expressed condolences to Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan for the victims of the plane crash near Almaty, his press service said Friday.
“I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the human casualties as a result of the crash during the flight between Almaty and Nur-Sultan. On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims, and share the bitterness of the irreparable loss. I wish speedy recovery to all the victims," the telegram runs.
The Z2100 flight en route Almaty-Nur-Sultan jetted off from the Almaty International Airport at 7:22 am this morning. The plane lost its altitude near Kyzyl Tu village and crashed into a two-storeyed building there. The rescuers were dispatches to the scene immediately.
There were 95 passengers on board, of them 5- crew members. According to Kazakhstani media, 15 people were killed.
