Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Adviser to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on a voluntary basis Dastan Dogoev, Chairman of the Committee of Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Sharshembiev and Director of the state-owned Center for Electronic Interaction under the Committee of Information Technologies and Communications Nuriya Kutnaeva on Wednesday.
The press service of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that measures and tasks for the development of digital transformation in the country, as well as the implementation of decisions of the Security Council meeting on the digital development of the country of December 14, 2018, were discussed.
Sharshembiev and Kutnaeva spoke about the ongoing work in the development of information technology and digitalization of the country.
At present, 47 state bodies (59 databases) are connected to the Tunduk interdepartmental electronic interaction system, and data exchange between 16 state bodies has been ensured.
The head of state noted that the promotion of the digital foundations of the country's development is the main, priority direction.
“Digitalization includes all spheres of life in the country, including provision of public services, provision of various certificates, document flow between the state bodies, to facilitate the lives of our citizens. To do this, government agencies should review all processes, eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic delays and simplify regulations,” Jeenbekov said.
The head of state expressed his dissatisfaction with the implementation of the tasks of digitization of the country, instructed to eliminate all the shortcomings hindering the active development and implementation of digitalization in all spheres of the country's life in the shortest possible time.
