Jeenbekov familiarizes with digitalization process in State Registration Service system

Bishkek, June 5, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, June 5 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Chairman of the State Registration Service (SRS) under the Kyrgyz Government Akyn Mambetaliyev.

According to the President's press service, implementation of the state policy of digital transformation of the country and development of regions, projects on digitalization in the system of SRS were discussed.

Akyn Mambetaliyev presented information about the current situation in the registration and accounting system of the country, its development prospects, measures taken to automate public services for the population.

He reported the SRS is developing and implementing "iGov" mobile application, through which citizens will be able to identify themselves under the "Safe City" project and present to law enforcement officers documents in digital format.

In addition, the SRS chairman told about the implementation of the "Sanarip Aimak" (Digital Region) project, which in the future through the Tunduk system of electronic interagency cooperation will combine all the data on each aiyl okmotu (local government) and citizen.

Residents of rural areas will have an opportunity to receive certain state services in without coming to regional centers.

Mambetaliyev added in order to simplify the procedure of obtaining driving licenses, vehicle registration and eliminate corruption risks, two AutoPSC (Population Service Centers) are planned to be opened in Bishkek, the first one is planned to be launched by the end of July 2020, the second one - by the end of this year.

President Jeenbekov drew special attention to the facilitation and improvement of access and quality of public services to the population, noting the need to intensify work in this area.
