Bishkek, Dec.5, 2019 /Kabar/. Today, Dec.5 President Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited the National Phthisiology Centre under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and Emergency Medicine Center (EMC) in Bishkek.
Gulmira Kalmanbetova, head of the laboratory at the Phthisiology Centre, told about the introduction of digitalization processes in the reference laboratory, which provides rapid molecular tests for tuberculosis diagnosis.
She said a new system of biological material’s transportation has been implemented. Delivery is carried out by the Courier Service of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication.
This has significantly reduced the time and financial costs of the population. These high-tech diagnostic methods are provided to the citizens absolutely free of charge.
Director of the National Phthisiology Centre Bolot Maikanayev emphasized the information system of the anti-tuberculosis service was integrated with other state electronic systems (State Registration Service, Social Fund, MHIF, Health Ministry) through the Tunduk electronic interaction system.
The director stressed the application of modern developments in real-time data exchange had led to the creation of a unified centralized system for the management and monitoring of all databases and programs of anti-tuberculosis service.
Then, Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited the Emergency Medicine Center in Bishkek, inspected ambulances, the fully renovated building of the Center, got acquainted with the measures on digitalization of the Center's activity.
EMC Director Iskender Shayakhmetov said new automated control system has been introduced in order to optimize and increase the efficiency of the work of ambulance team.
Shayakhmetov noted the implementation of this project allowed to reduce the number of calls made late.
Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications, Advisor to the President Dastan Dogoev presented information on the implementation of e-government services and digital services in state bodies, including in medicine.
President Jeenbekov noted particular importance of accelerating the process of digitalization in medicine, including in the regions of the country, which has a direct impact on the lives and health of citizens.
He also expressed gratitude to the staffs of medical institutions, emphasizing that providing medical aid to the population, saving lives is the most noble profession, and added the possibility of raising the salaries of the employees of the anti-TB service and ambulance stations is being considered.
