Bishkek, Jan.15, 2020 /Kabar/. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received on Wednesday Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications (SCITC) of Kyrgyzstan, his advisor Dastan Dogoyev.
Jeenbekov noted with satisfaction large-scale work in 2019 on the digital transformation of the country, improvement of the quality of state and municipal services provided to the population and their conversion to e-format.
It was noted that the process of automating the exchange of information in all areas of the economy among business and state bodies has begun. A digital platform has been formed, which allowed for active connection of private structures to the Tunduk system of interagency electronic interaction.
"Along with the formation of digital infrastructure, the creation of appropriate platforms and databases, there is need to train citizens of our country in digital skills, to improve the competence of employees of the involved state bodies.
It is also necessary to create an enabling legislative framework for accelerated digital transformation. Without this, the population will not be able to feel the real positive results of digitalization," Sooronbay Jeenbekov said, recalling that the country's digital transformation remains a priority of the state policy in 2020.
SCITC Chairman, Advisor to the President Dastan Dogoyev informed about the priority directions of digital transformation of the country for the current year under the Digital Kyrgyzstan concept for 2019-2023.
Dogoyev stressed this year, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on Declaring 2020 the Year of Regional Development, Digitalization of the Country and Support for Children, the priority will be given to digitalization of education, healthcare, agriculture and social protection of the population.
In order to convert local municipal services into electronic format, work will be intensified to accelerate the implementation of the Sanarip Aimak (Digital Region) platform, which also allows local governments to exchange data with other state bodies through integration with the Tunduk system.
This work, coordinated by SCITC, will be carried out jointly with the National Statistics Committee, the State Registration Service and the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations.
Dastan Dogoyev emphasized this platform is planned to be introduced in all regions of the country during 2020.
