Bishkek, Apr. 7, 2019. / Kabar /. Today, on April 7, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov honored the memory of those killed in the 2010 April Revolution.
The Kyrgyz President’s press service reported that the head of state laid flowers at the monument to the memory of those killed in the April 2010 events at the Ata-Beyit memorial complex. The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the dead, and a memorial prayer was read.
The event was attended by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, Chairman of the Supreme Court Gulbara Kaliyeva, ex-President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbaeva, relatives of the victims of April 7, 2010, participants of the April events, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, members of the government and members of the public.
After visiting the Ata-Beyit memorial complex, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov laid flowers at the Monument to the memory of those killed for the freedom of the people during the Aksy events of 2002 and the April events of 2010 at the Ala-Too square in Bishkek.
