Bishkek, Apr. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, his press service reported.
There was an exchange of views on the current epidemiological situation in the country, the activities of state bodies to minimize and overcome negative economic consequences and priority plans for the post-pandemic period.
PM Abylgaziev provided information about the Government's activity on implementation of the plan of anti-crisis measures, efforts to prevent further spread of coronavirus infection in the country.

It was noted that the epidemiological situation and new cases of infection are under increased control, and there is a trend towards recovery.
President Jeenbekov noted depending on the further development of the epidemiological situation, various options for the gradual resumption of economic activity should be considered in some regions and in the country as a whole.
At the same time, the Kyrgyz President drew attention to the need for strict compliance with all quarantine and sanitary requirements in the future, especially in areas with a large number of confirmed cases of infection.

A total of 665 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, 345 recoveries and 8 deaths.
A state of emergency is in force till Apr. 30 in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast, Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast, as well as in Naryn Oblast’s Naryn town and At-Bashy region.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
