Dushanbe, Feb.1, 2018 / Kabar /.President of Kyrgyzstan SooronbayJeenbekov took part in wreath-laying ceremony in Dushanbe for the monument of the Father of the Tajik nation, Ismail Somoni.
The official visit of the Kyrgyz Head of State to the neighboring country began with this solemn ceremony.
The visit of the Kyrgyz delegation will last two days. To date, Jeenbekov's meetings with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon are scheduled in a narrow and expanded format, following which the Heads of the two States will make a joint statement.
In the evening in the Palace of the Nation an official reception will be held on behalf of the President of Tajikistan in honor of the arrival of his colleague from Kyrgyzstan.
Tomorrow on Feb.2, Jeenbekov will meet with Prime Minister of Tajikistan Rasulzoda Kokhir as well as with Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli Shukurjon Zuhurov.
As a result of the forthcoming meetings, it is planned to sign a number of documents on the activation of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between the two countries.
