Bishkek, Sept.3, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov today, Sept. 3 met with Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov on the occasion of the launch of regular session of the country's parliament.
There was an exchange of views on the improvement of the legislative base of the country and social and economic development of the republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.
The President congratulated the speaker on the start of the regular session of the Parliament and noted its special significance for the deputies as it is the final sixth convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh
President Jeenbekov expressed hope that Parliament members will approach their duty with special responsibility. He expressed confidence that the parliamentarians will pay special attention to the draft laws within the framework of the state policy of regional development and digitalization of the country, promotion of judicial and legal reforms and implementation of major social and economic projects.
The head of state noted the need for constructive interaction with the Government and other state bodies in this direction.
Dzhumabekov told about the immediate plans facing the Parliament for the coming period.
