Bishkek, July 4, 2018 / Kabar /. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The meeting was attended by General auditor of the Office of the National Audit Office of China Hu Zedjun, head of the Accounting Chambers of Kyrgyzstan - Ulukbek Maripov, Uzbekistan - Muzraf Ikramov, Tajikistan - Chillazoda Karakhon, member of the Board of the Accounts Chamber of Russia Tatyana Blinova, chairwoman of Accounts Committee for Control over the Execution of the Republican Budget of Kazakhstan Natalia Godunova and Deputy Auditor General Auditor of India Attri Ashuini.
Ulukbek Maripov informed that today in Bishkek the IV meeting of representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the SCO member states was held, where problems and perspectives of the state audit development were discussed.
"We talked about a lot, including corruption, which is intensifying the struggle in our country," Maripov said.
He informed that after the meeting the Protocol was signed, a Joint Statement was adopted and the position of representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the SCO member states, observers and SCO partners was approved, and the Action Plan was approved within the framework of cooperation for 2018-2019.
The Head of State noted that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is becoming an effective tool for open dialogue between representatives of various state and business structures, and the Supreme Audit Institutions are the most important democratic institutions in the SCO countries.
He recalled the meeting of the presidents of the SCO member states, held last month in the Chinese city of Qingdao.
"We approved the Action Plan for 2018-2022 to implement the provisions of the Treaty on Long-term Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. I hope that this Plan will help to unite forces for genuine partnership in the economy, in the sphere of security, in science, education, in the preservation of cultural heritage, and to actively exchange ideas, innovations and practical experience," Jeenbekov stressed.
He noted the importance of uniting the efforts of the audit bodies and expressed the hope that the priority directions in their activities would be to conduct parallel and joint audits on the use of public funds allocated for the implementation of international investment projects within the SCO, especially in the field of energy and transport services, illegal export of capital and suppression of corruption.
Jeenbekov wished the auditors fruitful work, new ideas and promising projects for the benefit of states and peoples.
