Bishkek, Sept. 03, 2018. /Kabar/. The Nomad Games are intended to promote development of the unique culture and traditions of the contemporary generations of nomads, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov told at the official opening ceremony of the Nomad Games.

Welcome to the Third World Nomad Games!
We are sincerely glad to see you at the opening of the Third World Nomad Games on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake — the pearl of the Kyrgyz land!
Welcome to a country of the majestic snow-white Ala-Too Mountains, to the homeland of Manas the Magnanimous, the libertarian and hospitable Kyrgyz people!
The decision to hold the World Nomad Games was made at the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States in 2012.
And our games today are starting within the framework of the Summit of Turkic-speaking States.
We are extremely pleased that the President of the brotherly Republic of Kazakhstan, esteemed Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, is taking part in this solemn ceremony.
We are grateful to the President of the brotherly Republic of Turkey — esteemed Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who travelled a long distance.
I note with appreciation that our honorable guest from Europe is taking part in today’s ceremony — the Prime Minister of friendly Hungary, esteemed Viktor Orban.
We welcome our distinguished guest from Russia — President of Tatarstan Minnikhanov Rustam Nurgaliyevich.
Our distinguished guests are here with us today at the opening of the World Nomad Games.
I consider that all this evidences high assessment of the World Nomad Games, profound respect for the Kyrgyz people.
Tomorrow the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – esteemed Aliyev Ilham Heydarovich, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – esteemed Mirziyoyev Shavkat Miromonovich are expected to arrive for the Summit of Turkic-speaking States, which is to take place in Cholpon-Ata.

Honored guests, official delegations, sportsmen, researchers, and cultural workers from more than 50 countries of the world have arrived to take part in the Third World Nomad Games.
Furthermore, leaders of our international partners, diplomats, and representatives of international sports organizations are taking part in the opening of the Games.
The competitions are covered by representatives of more than a hundred of well-known television broadcasting companies and mass media.
We are pleased to extend to all of you our sincere welcome to the hospitable Kyrgyz land.

At present, political, economic, environmental and cultural processes, occurring in the world, are increasingly accelerating. Technologies are rapidly changing.
All these phenomena, along with achievements, posed before the humanity a number of new problems.
In these circumstances it is of great importance to turn to the values, legacy and traditions of nomadic peoples.
This will consolidate the unity of the peoples of the world, serve as a basis for spreading humanitarian ideals, changing attitude to nature, human society.
The nomadic civilization encompasses several thousand years of history.
This is a great legacy, which covers the territory from the Pacific Ocean to Europe, Central and Eastern Asia, Asia Minor and Middle East.
Such illimitable space could only be mastered by nomads. The nomadic world unites hundreds of peoples. Their culture, worldview have unique features.
The nomadic civilization has played a great role in the global development. It, lining the cultures of the West and East, has been changing the world, leading it in the direction of renewal.
The nomadic civilization has turned the harmonious life of human and nature into a particular value.
The key philosophy of nomads reflects the essence of balance between the material and spiritual.
Dear ladies and gentlemen!
Today’s global challenges force us, again and again, to turn to our background, indigenous cultures, values, and acquire more spiritual energy from them.
Nomads have always respected people's democracy, linking different cultures through tolerance between religions, which, in turn, served as a bridge to peaceful coexistence.
In our time this idea became the major value.
The Nomad Games were held three times in a sequence on the Kyrgyz land, on the shore of our sacred Issyk-Kul Lake.
Now the mission of holding the World Nomad Games is passed on to the Republic of Turkey. I wish esteemed Recep Tayyip Erdogan — the President of the Republic of Turkey, taking up the torch from us, to successfully host the next Nomad Games.

Traditional nomadic sports games and cultural activities, bringing together people from different parts of the world, represent ideals of peoples’ peaceful coexistence.
