Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2018. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov told today at his final press conference what the funds transferred to the special account as a result of detection of corruption phenomena will used for.
He said that since the beginning of the year, 5.5 billion soms have been transferred to this account, opened since July of the current year, and since opening the sum has increased by 800 million soms.
“Today we are seeing active internal migration in Chuy oblast and the city of Bishkek. This consequence exacerbates the problem with the lack of social facilities, namely kindergartens and schools. In this regard, funds from the special account will be allocated for the construction of new social facilities in Bishkek and Chuy oblast,” the President said.
In addition, he also pointed out that the initiated fight against corruption is in full swing, and the effect of the measures taken is tangible in practice.
