Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2018. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part on Fridaytoday, September 28, in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CHS CIS), which was held in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan.
After the official ceremony of the meeting and joint photographing, the leaders of the Commonwealth countries went to a meeting of the CIS Heads of State in a narrow format, the press service of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reported.
During the meeting there was an exchange of views on interaction within the CIS. Issues on the chairmanship in the CIS and on holding of the next meeting of the CIS Council of the Heads of State of were considered. Further, the meeting will continue in an extended format with the participation of members of delegations.
Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Moldova Igor Dodon, Russia Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Purli Agamuradov.
