Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov plans to hold a meeting with figures of culture, science and education, former leaders of the government, the country's parliament and donor partners of Kyrgyzstan, who assist in the development of various sectors of the country, the President told in Talas oblast at the opening ceremony of the secondary school named after Umarbekov in Kara-Buura village, Kara-Buurinsky region.
Jeenbekov recalled that before that he had met with experts and professionals from various oblasts of the country. Those were the leaders of the media, NGOs, representatives of the business community.
“We discussed proposals for the further development of various areas and how to raise Kyrgyzstan to a new level. Openly discussed all the acute problems that exist in the country. Identified ways to solve urgent problems. In our country there are many people who want to make significant contribution to the development of the state. I plan to hold the same meeting with those who in the past led the government and parliament of the country. I am eager to have an open conversation with them and listen to them, exchange views on all relevant issues of the country's development,” Jeenbekov said.
The President recalled the Aitmatov Forum, which brought together representatives of the intelligentsia from all over the world and said that he intended to meet with representatives of the country's intelligentsia in the near future.
Jeenbekov stressed that his main goal as President is to unite all the progressive forces of society, all active people who intend to contribute to the development of our country.
“We are obliged to develop our state. If there is stability in the country, the unity of the people, we will achieve our goal. Kyrgyzstan will develop steadily only when all of us, all Kyrgyzstanis, act as one force,” Jeenbekov concluded.
