Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. “Political cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia reaches a new level of interaction,” President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov told during the extended format negotiations with Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga.
The Mongolian leader has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit.
Jeenbekov noted the need to develop bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The President stressed that the opening of Mongolian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan will help unleash the potential for cooperation between the two countries and bring them to a qualitatively new level.
“For our part, we are working on opening a diplomatic mission in Mongolia. We plan to open an Honorary Consulate in Ulaanbaatar in the near future,” Jeenbekov said.
