Cholpon-Ata, Sept. 03, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, delivering his speech today at the opening of the Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States, called his counterparts in the organization to expand the investment cooperation and relations between private sectors.
The President told that the Summit is dedicated to “National Sports and Cooperation in the Youth Field”.
“Younger generation is a country’s future. Creation of decent conditions for the life of young people is a holy duty and responsibility of each state. Carrying out work and implementation of projects in this area directly depend on economic capabilities of our countries. In this regard, I call for further expansion of the investment cooperation between the Turkic Council member-states and relations between private sectors”, Jeenbekov said.
The President added that it is contributed by decreasing obstacles to the flow of goods and services, capital and workforce, which is in line with the goals of CCTS cooperation.
“We consider it necessary to pay attention to the matters of economy diversification, increasing transport corridors, development of entrepreneurship and improving the investment climate. For these purposes, we propose to revitalize the work of Economy Ministers and working groups for economic cooperation”, Jeenbekov proposed.
He added that Kyrgyzstan, being landlocked, is interested in successful development of transport routes, linking trade between the East and West to the full extent. In this regard, as the President noted, construction of railway main line “China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan” is of great importance.
