Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2018. /Kabar/. The President signed the Law on Ratification of the Protocol on the Application of Certain Provisions of the Treaty on the Accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014, signed on December 23, 2014, signed on April 11, 2017 in Moscow. The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) on September 27, 2018.
The aforementioned Protocol makes changes to paragraph 1 of Article 8 of the Treaty on Accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 in the part relating to paragraph 12 of the Protocol on the procedure for receiving and distributing the sums of import customs duties (other duties, taxes and fees having equivalent effect), their transfer to the income of the budgets of member states.
New standards for the distribution of the sums of import customs duties were set in the following amounts:
- The Republic of Armenia - 1,220%;
- The Republic of Belarus - 4.560%;
- Republic of Kazakhstan - 7.055%;
- Kyrgyz Republic - 1.900%;
- Russian Federation - 85.265%.
Thus, the document provides for an increase in the share of the Republic of Armenia from 1.11 percent to 1.22 percent due to a decrease in the shares of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan by 0.055 percent, respectively.
The established sizes of the standards for the distribution of the amounts of import customs duties for the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Belarus are left unchanged.
In accordance with Article 2 of the above Protocol, it is provisionally applied from January 1, 2017 and enters into force from the 1st of the month following the month in which the depositee received the last written notification via diplomatic channels on the fulfillment of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Protocol by the members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The law enters into force upon the expiration of ten days from the date of official publication.
