Jeenbekov: Republican Nomad Games will be held annually in each of the oblasts

Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2019. /Kabar/. “In order to spread the Republican Nomad Games nationwide, it has been decided to hold Nomad Games in each of the oblasts annually,” President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov told Wednesday during a meeting with residents of Kadamzhai region of Batken oblast.

The Kyrgyz leader recalled that the Third World Nomad Games had been held at a high level, representatives from about 60 countries took part in them, and the right to hold the next games was transferred to Turkey, the press service of the President’s Office reported.

“Taking into account the importance of these Games, we have decided to hold annual National Nomad Games at the republican level in Kyrgyzstan. This year the Games will be held in Talas oblast – in Manas Ordo. Further, other oblasts of our country will take up the baton,” Jeenbekov said.
