Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2019 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated the participants of the international symposium of the Altai peoples on the beginning of their work in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The symposium has started at Ala-Archa state residence, guests arrived from 15 countries, including figures from Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Mongolia, South Korea and Japan.
Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Dosaly Esenaliev greeted the participants o behalf of the president and read out his message.
“Today, the customs, traditions, and culture of the peoples of Altai require comprehensive research. To improve the heritage of our ancestors, it is necessary to use new technologies and scientific knowledge, which takes time. I hope that this symposium will make a great contribution to the study of the experience, which is forgotten,” the president said in his greeting.
Esenaliev listed that among the delegates, there were scholars such as Takahiro Ozakige (Japan), Refik Turanga (Turkey), Bao Wen Shenge (Mongolia). He expressed gratitude to them for the honor of participating in this forum.
“Today, a prestigious international scientific conference containing thousands of years of ancient culture, as an offshoot of the universal cultural heritage, should serve as an important step in the study,” added Esenaliev
After lunch, participants will leave for Issyk-Kul, where they stay for 5 days. They will consider there a number of important issues, the main theme is "Livestock".
Scientists from Turkey, Japan, Korea will make presentations at the symposium of the Altai peoples in Kyrgyzstan
