Bishkek, Apr.4, 2020./Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov sent a message to Chinese leader Xi Jinping on the occasion of a national mourning ceremony in memory of victims of coronavirus infection, his press service said Saturday.
"On the occasion of a national mourning ceremony to commemorate the victims of COVID-19 novel coronavirus infection being held on Apr.4, let me once again express my sincere condolences to you and all the people of China and wish a speedy recovery to people infected.
The Kyrgyz side appreciates the efforts made personally by you and the Government of China to prevent the spread of the pandemic, as well as the resilience shown by the Chinese people. I am convinced that China will soon fully overcome the disease and continue its path of economic development and prosperity with renewed vigour.
Once again, I would like to assure you that our countries have full mutual understanding, which makes it possible to develop a fruitful comprehensive strategic partnership, based on friendship, good neighborliness and mutual trust," the message of the Kyrgyz President says.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov thanked Xi Jinping and the Chinese people for support being provided to Kyrgyzstan during this difficult time.
