Bishkek, March 31, 2018 / Kabar /. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with the players and coaches of the national football team of Kyrgyzstan. He congratulated the team on entering the Asian Cup, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in 2019 and thanked the athletes for this success.
"This is a great achievement and a huge success. You showed your best qualities. You managed to prove to the whole world that the national football team of Kyrgyzstan has not shown such a good game in recent years. It was difficult, but you showed your very best qualities," Jeenbekov said.
The President stressed that football players and those who prepared them for important games deserve gratitude: coaches, sports doctors. He especially noted the contribution of the head coach Alexander Krestinin.
"We are glad that you have entered the top 100 teams of the world, out of 47 teams of our continent you are on the 12th place. This is also a great achievement in such a short time," President Jeenbekov said.
