Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2019. / Kabar /. “These days our hearts are filled with pride for the country thanks for your game, for your patriotism, for your work,” Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said today at the ceremony of awarding state awards to athletes of the National Football Team of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state noted that these days the country is experiencing the most positive emotions, each Kyrgyz citizen with a sense of patriotism feels pride and unity, the President’s press service said.
“You defended the pride of our country with honor and dignity. They gave us a great spiritual holiday and deserved a sense of gratitude to all Kyrgyz people. Along with famous teams of famous football powers, you showed a magnificent example of team spirit, true friendship, courage and courage for the honor of the country. We perceive your last game at the Asian Cup not as a defeat, but as a victory of dignity and honor,” the President said and expressed his gratitude to the athletes on behalf of all Kyrgyzstanis.
Jeenbekov stressed that the national team players became the idols of many children, young guys who are just starting their way into a great sport.
“Thanks to you, we became a football country. I am pleased to congratulate the people of Kyrgyzstan, the fans, the players, the Football Federation of our country and all the staff for showing the excellent game,” said Jeenbekov.
He particularly noted the coach of the national team Alexander Krestinin, as the insight and high professionalism of the entire coaching staff allowed the athletes to achieve excellent results, and they were able to grow the champion in each player as in his son.
The president also stressed personal contribution of President of the Dordoy sports club Askar Salymbekov in the development of Kyrgyz football.
The head of state also noted the role of the President of the Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Semetey Sultanov, who, through his new methods and innovative approach, made a tangible contribution to the formation and development of Kyrgyz football.
President presented state awards: the Manas Order the 3rd degree to Askar Salymbekov, Danaker order to Alexander Krestinin, Dank medal to Semetey Sultanov, players Azamat Baimatov, Valery Kaszuba, Valery Kitchin, Vitaly Lux, Mirlan Murzaev.
Assistant Igor Kudrenko was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic", the team doctor Nurbek Ismailov - the honorary title "Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic".
The remaining players of the National Team were awarded diplomas of honor of the Kyrgyz Republic and the nominal watch of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"You have everything ahead. We expect a lot of victories from you. And we believe that these victories will not make us wait long. We are sure that you will raise the Flag of the National football more than once again,” Jeenbekov concluded.
