Jeenbekov to meet with Putin in Orenburg and visit SCO Center-2019 military exercises

Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2019. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will visit Orenburg (Russia), where the contingent of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic take part in joint military exercises.

The main goal of the exercises is training on conducting military operations in modern conditions, increasing the interoperability of the military command and control bodies of the allied states, the President’s press service reported.

The Kyrgyz President will meet with his Russian counterpart and discuss pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including ensuring security in the region.
