Jeenbekov visits family of 21yo student-volunteer who died of bilateral pneumonia

Bishkek, July 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, July 16 President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited a family of Adinai Myrzabekova, a student of the Akhunbayev State Medical Academy, who died working as a volunteer medical officer at one of the temporary hospitals in Bishkek.

Jeenbekov expressed his condolences to the parents, relatives and friends of Adinai and recited a memorial prayer, his press service reported.

"It is difficult to choose consolatory words, it’s a great loss for you, which cannot be compensated with any words. I share your bitterness, I remember my mother, who was grieving in her time, having lost own child," the President noted, expressing words of support to Adinai's mother.

During the short conversation, the parents told about their daughter, who dreamed of becoming a doctor, after graduating from school she entered the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, demonstrating high results of nationwide testing.

The Kyrgyz leader emphasized Adinai Myrzabekova is a hero of our time and will remain in the memory of compatriots as a brave volunteer who sacrificed her life for the health of others.

Yesterday, July 15 by Presidential Decree of Jeenbekov, Myrzabekova has been awarded the Erdik Medal (posthumously) for her voluntary selfless work and contribution to the fight against COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

Adinai Murzabekova, a 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, worked as a volunteer in a temporary hospital organized at the Discovery Hotel. According to preliminary data of the Health Ministry, she died of bilateral pneumonia.
