Bishkek, July 18, 2020 / Kabar /. “We will carry out a complete reform of the health care system,” President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov said today in an interview to Birinchi Radio station of the Public Broadcasting Corporation.
The head of state stressed that the current situation revealed a number of problems in the state system, on which appropriate conclusions will be drawn.
“I am analyzing some of the topical government issues and areas. We will take a number of steps that will affect the life of the state and people. The main thing is to radically modernize and improve the healthcare system. Otherwise, as we see, we are faced with a direct threat to the health of the population,” Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted.
In this regard, the President once again stressed the need to introduce digitalization into the healthcare system.
He added that as a president, each day he begins and ends by addressing issues related to the fight against the pandemic.
“I have full information about important circumstances. I know what measures are being taken by the Government and local authorities. Every day I personally discuss urgent issues with them for taking appropriate measures to provide medical services to the population, to provide drugs,” the head of state emphasized.
The President called on citizens not to lose hope.
“Together with all the peoples of the world, we will surely defeat this scourge that all humanity has faced,” he said.
