Bishkek, Apr. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov is on a two-day official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The first day of the visit, Apr. 15, was devoted to the economic block of issues, in particular, the head of state took part in the Kyrgyz-German Economic Forum, delivered speech at the Hanns Seidel Foundation, then visited an agricultural enterprise.
In Munich, Jeenbekov met with head of the State Chancellery of Bavaria, State Minister of Bavaria for Federal and European Issues and Media, Florian Hermann, State Minister for Economy, Development and Energy, Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria Hubert Ivanger.
The Kyrgyz President met in Munich with compatriots who study and work in Germany.
Today, on Apr. 16, the head of state will meet in Berlin with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, as well as with Chairman of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Angela Merkel will make a statement to the press.
