In Bishkek, the bilateral negotiations of the leaders of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Russia Vladimir Putin have been completed within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation. Upon the completion of the meeting, the sides made a joint statement.
The head of Kyrgyzstan, first of all, thanked the distinguished guest for the visit and noted the fruitful conclusion of the negotiations.
“We have had meaningful and productive negotiations. They covered all areas of the bilateral cooperation. Once again, with your personal participation and support, our cooperation has reached a qualitatively high level and has gained momentum,” Jeenbekov began.
The state visit, he said, was a historic event in the bilateral relations, and the top-level talks were held in an atmosphere of deep mutual trust and understanding.
“We have signed an impressive package of bilateral documents. They meet the interests of both countries and are intended to bring our relations to a new qualitative level,” Jeenbekov said.
He also expressed confidence that their implementation will bring many benefits to the peoples of the two countries.
