Bishkek, June 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Visit of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Rzhev, Russia on June 30 will depend on further epidemiological situation, press secretary of the Kyrgyz President Tolgonai Stamaliyeva said.
She added the opening of a monument to Kyrgyz soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War was planned within the framework of the visit.
"Whether this visit will take place will depend on the further epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan and Russia," the press secretary said.
On June 24 President Jeenbekov returned from Moscow. Before the departure and upon arrival in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz leader and all members of the delegation passed a second test for COVID-19.
All results came back negative, except for two people, who were confirmed to have coronavirus infection in Moscow.
"Their condition is satisfactory, the disease is asymptomatic, in this connection from today they are self-isolated at home under medical supervision. The President and all members of the delegation, who have a negative result, also work remotely on self-isolation," Stamaliyeva concluded.
