Bishkek, July 7, 2022. / Kabar /. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) sent a mission to the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Dr. Yosh Itaka Hosoi, Senior Advisor for Natural Resources, and Mr. Hiroyuki Matsuda, Head of the JICA Energy and Mining Department, Kyrgyzaltyn reported.
The purpose of the mission is to study the mining industry in Kyrgyzstan. The mission members would like to get acquainted with the general situation in the industry: the main ore deposits, production, exports, current development/mining projects, as well as national industry policies, and in turn provide information on the activities of JICA in the mining industry, in particular on the educational scholarship Bondage by Mining Resources program “Connection through Mineral Resources.
Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC is the 100% state-owned company, which has 30 years of experience in the production of precious metal processing, in addition, it has production and non-production branches ranging from joint ventures, motor transport, construction.
“Kyrgyzaltyn is interested in stable work that does not harm the environment of ourcountry and the health of our people. We do not use reagents and use the gravity method of production”, said Deputy Chairman of the Board Amantur Tursuniyazov.
After the meeting, JICA representatives went to Altyn Ken LLC to get acquainted with the work of the joint venture.
