Joint command-staff and mobilization South-2021exercises kick off in Batken

Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2021. / Kabar /. The opening ceremony of the joint command-staff and mobilization exercises "South-2021" was held in Batken, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan reported.

In his welcoming speech, Minister of Defense of the country Taalaibek Omuraliev, emphasizing the importance and relevance of this exercise and the socio-political significance of the military labor of our soldiers in general, noted that “there is no more honorable and sacred duty than protecting your home, your Fatherland, which is proved by servicemen, law enforcement officers bodies and special services, other state bodies and local self-government bodies of our country.” He also said that within the framework of this exercise, the real state of combat and mobilization readiness of troops will be checked.

During the exercise, it is planned to carry out a set of practical measures to bring military command and control bodies to the highest degree of combat readiness, and state bodies and local self-government bodies in readiness to work on the leadership of subordinate structures and units in the context of the introduction of martial law.

In addition, it is planned to carry out practical measures to stabilize the situation by military control bodies, state bodies and local self-government bodies in the context of the introduction of martial law in the region.

More than 1.5 thousand citizens will take part in the exercises, as well as over 200 military personnel from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Fire Service under the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
