Bishkek, July 26, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov visited on Monday Kyrgyz Jewelry Plant Altyn on the basis of which a new enterprise Kyrgyzaltyn Yuvelirprom has been established, whose participants are Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC and Kyrgyz Jewelry Altyn LLC.
The joint enterprise was established within the mechanism of public-private partnership.
The head of the state got acquainted with the technological process, inspected the production facilities, as well as the chain dressing, mechanical casting equipment and robotic printer for jewelry model prototyping.
Zhaparov was informed that the new enterprise is aimed at restoration of domestic production of jewelry, modernization of production base, reconstruction of existing jewelry factories and sales network as well as creation of favorable environment for business development.
In addition, the project aims to update the wholesale and retail network for the sale of domestic jewelry both domestically and abroad.
At present, active work is being done on the possibility of developing the sector of domestic processing of mined precious metals.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of increasing the volume of gold mining industry of the country and extracting maximum profit from its activities.
He also drew attention to the need to improve the competitiveness of domestic jewelry products.
The Kyrgyz leader set a task for managers of the new company - to increase the volume of processed gold in the republic from January 1, 2022 compared to when the mined material is exported in the form of refined bars without added value, as it is done today.
