Jubilee business forum of NABA held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2018 / Kabar /. The jubilee business forum of the National Alliance of Business Associations (NABA) was held in Bishkek with the participation of the business community of Kyrgyzstan and government agencies.

The business agenda is a set of recommendations, proposals and priorities for business in Kyrgyzstan based on the needs, challenges and prospects developed through consultations and meetings with the business community of Kyrgyzstan with the involvement of experts.

During the event, MP Mahabat Mavlyanova made a welcoming speech. She urged the business community to work closely with government agencies to develop the economy.

Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Imanaliev told about the results of last year's business agenda in 2017. He said that in the new concept of the national development strategy of the country, the priority of the state is a person. At the same time, the state will pay sufficient attention to the development of investment attractiveness and public-private partnership.

The business agenda also includes of the development of competition in the banking sector to reduce the interest rate of the loan.

In this vein, Aziza Yuldasheva, Executive Director of Jer Azygy Association of Agrobusinessmen said that joining the Eurasian Economic Union showed the inconsistency of the domestic agrarian sector and not readiness for export.

According to her, the economic inconsistency of farmers in the regions is causing external and internal migration of the population.

Yuldasheva said that the reforms that were proposed in the agrarian sector are not effective.

"Without the construction of logistics centers and processing plants, we will not raise the regions and agriculture," Yuldasheva added.

In his turn, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Eldar Abakirov said that the state has created all conditions for the creation of cooperatives that can independently negotiate the delivery of a product for export.

In addition, he said, the association in cooperatives will allow farmers to enter into contracts and grow economically profitable crops in large volumes.
