Bishkek, April 9, 2021. / Kabar /. The grand opening of the Judo Academy of Kyrgyzstan took place today in Bishkek.
The event was attended by President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, President of the Asian Judo Union Obeid Al Anzi, President of the Judo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Zholdoshbek Kolbaev, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan Salamat Ergeshov and Director of the Directorate for Olympic Sports Joomart Shamkanov.
The honored guests of the event, Marius Wieser, Obeid Al Anzi and Zholdoshbek Kolbaev, cut the red ribbon and planted ate in honor of the opening of the first Judo Academy in Kyrgyzstan.
The First Vice President of the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan Azret Bootaev presented the academy.
Salamat Ergeshov awarded Marius Wieser with the Order of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Marius Vizer expressed gratitude to the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan represented by Zholdoshbek Kolbaev for organizing and holding the Asian and Oceania Judo Championships at a high level and congratulated on the opening of the Academy.
Obeid Al Anzi noted in his congratulatory speech that the opening of the Judo Academy in Kyrgyzstan is a great success and a joyful event for the entire Asian Judo Union: “We hope that this Academy will prepare the Asian and World champions in judo. I am very glad to personally take part in the opening and to be a part of such a significant event in the history of Kyrgyz judo,” he said.
Also within the framework of the event, Marius Wieser and Obeid Al Anzi met with young judokas and wished them to train hard and achieve success on the tatami and in life.
The Academy was built by the Judo Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
