Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz sportsman Yuli Krakovetsky became the bronze medalist at the Grand Slam in judo in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Federation of the sport reported.
The judoist competed in the weight category over 100 kg. In the first bout, he defeated his rival from Georgia, later he lost to a Russian, who won the gold medal afterwards.
Having defeated an athlete from Poland, in the fight for the bronze award he “crushed” his rival from Israel.
The tournament was held from 27 to 29 October as part of the IJF World Judo Tour, in which 400 sportsmen from 64 countries took part.
