"Recruitment has now flowed into modern technology and is mostly taking place in social networks. Today the main users of social networks are the youth. The state should slightly revise its tools and work with technology. The imams also need to master IT technologies in order to work accurately," Malikov said.
He also added that the main target groups of recruiters are the youth and women, as they are regarded as the most vulnerable and protesting part of the population who often do not agree with manifestations of injustice.
"Youth usually has youthful maximalism, it is very subtly used by psychologists of terrorist organizations who skillfully recruit through social networks. It is necessary to have preventive work among teenagers, they need to get proper direction, the right knowledge about the different glides of terroristic actions, as well as correct information about Islam in general. When the child is recruited, he will already know what it is," Malikov added.
