Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2022 / Kabar /. The Kara-Balta distillery state enterprise launched alcohol production on starch-containing raw materials (wheat).
In accordance with the Decree of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic “On urgent measures to introduce a 100% state monopoly on the production, storage and sale of ethyl alcohol”, the idle Kara-Balta Distillery enterprise was launched.
The last production of ethyl alcohol on starchy cheese (wheat grain) at this plant was in 2015; Lux class alcohol was not produced 7 years.
To date, 5,800 decalitres of Lux class alcohol have already been produced.
For the uninterrupted operation of the plant, 878,640 tons of wheat grain were imported, and the purchase of raw materials continues uninterruptedly. An agreement was also signed with the State Material Reserves Fund under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic on the transfer of 5,000 tons of wheat grain in the order of borrowing.
Kara-Balta distilleryis an enterprise fully equipped for the production of ethyl alcohol. The main activity is the production of alcohol. The enterprise has the ability to process both starch-containing raw materials (wheat) and sugar-containing raw materials (beet molasses, raw sugar).
To date, the production capacity of the enterprise is 2800 decaliters per day. After carrying out repair and restoration work and partial modernization of equipment, the enterprise will reach a production capacity of 5,000 decaliters per day.
