Kazakbaev discusses of cooperation with Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region

Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev received Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation Vasily Kozlov as part of his visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues of interregional cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and migration spheres.

The sudes noted the need to intensify work on holding the 9th Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference, the second forum of rectors of universities of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the Kyrgyz-Sverdlovsk intergovernmental commission, as well as other planned activities, taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the countries.

The Kyrgyz minister expressed gratitude to the government of Sverdlovsk region for the assistance in promoting the issue of updating the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Ivan Vasilyevich Panfilov in Bishkek.

The interlocutors expressed their readiness for dynamic interaction to implement the agreements reached and to continue constructive dialogue in the spirit of allied relations and strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
