Bishkek, Nov. 23, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting Mayor of Bishkek Balbak Tulobayev met on Monday with Kazakh Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Kairat Nurpeisov.
According to the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office, the parties discussed the social and political situation in the capital.
Tulobayev told about the activities of the city administration during a coronavirus pandemic.
He also stressed the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation with twin cities and partner cities, in particular with akimats of Nur-Sultan, Almaty.
“It was noted that today the situation in the city is stable, all city services, structural divisions of the Mayor’s Office operate in a regular mode," the report says.
Bishkek has established twin-city relations with Almaty in 1997, Nur-Sultan in 2011.
