Bishkek, March 18, 2021. / Kabar /. Kazakhstan expressed the readiness to supply 200 police patrol cars and 250 buses, as well as Airbus light helicopters to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Finance said on Thursday.
On March 15, 2021 a meeting was held between Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy and Finance Ulukbek Karmyshakov and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues and prospects for bilateral cooperation between the countries.
It was also agreed to make efforts to overcome the consequences of the epidemiological crisis for the development of bilateral relations, capacity building and implementation of tasks set by presidents of the two countries.
As part of enhancing increase in trade turnover, Kazakh Trade Minister Bakhyt Sultanov informed about the possibility of supplying 200 police patrol cars and 250 buses, as well as Airbus light helicopters to the Kyrgyz side.
During the meeting, the two ministers debated holding a regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council chaired by prime ministers of the two countries.
They also noted the importance of revitalization of the business council, which is an effective tool for establishing direct links and dialogue between the business communities of the countries.
