Kazakhstan to open land border crossing points with Kyrgyzstan from April 11

Bishkek, April 7, 2022 / Kabar /. From April 11, Kazakhstan will open land border crossing points for Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev said.

He said that the Interdepartmental Commission for Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Infection on the Territory of Kazakhstan decided to lift restrictions on the crossing of the borders of Kazakhstan by citizens of Kazakhstan, stateless persons and foreigners at land checkpoints with Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan from April 11 this year.

The ambassador noted that this decision was made taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation.

All restrictions on crossing the state border of Kazakhstan by air are also removed. At the same time, there is the requirement for the mandatory presentation of a PCR test with a negative result of COVID-19 or a document/passport confirming the completion of a full course of vaccination, revaccination against COVID-19.
