Today Qasym-Jomart Toqayev has taken the oath of office as Kazakhstan's Acting President, Kazinform reports.
Toqayev will execute the role of the president until the next presidential election.
Earlier on March 19 the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stepped down from his post.
