Bishkek, Dec.23, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Hungary Talantbek Kushchubekov met with Deputy State Secretary for Development of Cooperation with Eastern Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Adam Stifter.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed key issues of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian strategic partnership. Special attention was paid to the plans for 2025, including preparation of high and the highest level visits, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the discussion, the ambassador and the deputy state secretary summarized results of the official visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Kyrgyzstan on Nov. 5, 2024 and the recent working visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev to Hungary on Dec. 17-18.
The parties also touched upon the issues of bilateral cooperation, including the activities of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the implementation of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program.
Adam Stifter confirmed the readiness to further strengthen interaction with the Kyrgyz Embassy and emphasized the importance of joint work to deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
